EDEN Arts’ 2014 C-Art Artist Open Studios event is open for applications from Cumbrian artists, designers and galleries. This year’s event takes place from September 13-28 and will include a new ‘C-Art in Extraordinary Places’ element, with artists being encouraged to leave their studios and take up residence in unusual or beautiful locations and venues across Cumbria. Eden Arts hopes to build on the success of the 2013 event, in which 162 artists, designers and galleries across Cumbria opened their doors to the public with more than 25,000 studio visits made, generating £139,392 in art sales.
