PRIZES have been handed to a pair of cuties who won the hearts of Gazette readers.
Mia MacFarlane, now 23 months, and Paige Metcalfe, 13 months, proved they are top of the tots when they won first place for their respective age groups in the newspaper’s Little Cuties competition.
“We’re really pleased for her,” said Rachael Ashburn, mum of Mia. “I’m just so proud she won.”
Mia, who lives with her mum in Warton, attends the Spotty Dog Nursery and loves Disney.
Paige, who lives with her parents in Sedbergh, loves books and animals.
Both girls have won a canvas portrait of the winning picture, a trophy and £100.
“We’re building a house at the moment so the canvas will take pride of place in the new living room,” said Paige’s mum, Vicki Hudson.
