APPLEBY Swimming Club has been awarded £790 from Cumbria County Council’s Local Committee for Eden towards the training of parent volunteers.
Lowther Parish Hall Committee also received £9,793 to buy outdoor play equipment, fencing and surfacing to develop a play area in Hackthorpe, near Shap.
