TWO sheep have been killed at separate locations on Orton Scar as 'a result of colliding which a vehicle'.

Police say the incidents occurred between 11pm on Thursday January 23 and 9am on Friday January 24.

A police spokesperson said: “The farmer checked on the livestock on the Thursday evening and everything was okay.

“The next morning he noticed that two of the sheep were missing and had been killed on the road.”

The dead sheep were found on separate parts of the road and the police advised there was no evidence to suggest or confirm it was the same vehicle or whether the incident was deliberate.
