A SPORTS gear maker that has its creative hub in the Lake District has posted a tenth successive year of record results.
inov-8, which has its group research innovation and design centre based at Staveley, grew its business by 42% in 2013 to $29m.
Right across the globe, inov-8, which manufactures naturally fast, stripped-back products and shoes, saw huge growth in its markets in 2013.
In the USA, which represents 45% of the total business, the company posted a 25% increase last year.
In its home market, the UK, that figure was 41%, while Scandinavia (70%), Germany (39%), and Russia (85%) also posted huge increases.
There are plans to extend the offices in Staveley further in 2014.
