DOG and cat owners in Kendal are being encouraged to attend a microchipping event this weekend to help protect their pets from being lost or stolen.
To help owners meet the government deadlines of compulsory microchipping by 2016, owners can bring their cat or dog to Pets at Home, Kendal, on Saturday or Sunday and get their pet microchipped for the special rate of £10 (usually £15).
