ARTISTS and craftspeople are being urged to register for a spot at a major annual event.

The 10th anniversary Silverdale & Arnside art and craft trail takes place on the last weekend in June.

It opens on Friday June 27 and closes on Sunday June 29.

Hosted by the villages of Silverdale and Arnside, the hugely popular and well-established three day art event, sees exhibitors welcoming visitors into their homes, studios and exhibitions to view or purchase their work and participate in a number of expert workshops.

Situated within the area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) on the edge of Morecambe Bay, the trail is thought to be the largest of its kind in Lancashire and attracts over 90 exhibitors; and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

The event welcomes applications from both local and visiting artists and craftspeople.

The deadline for registration is Friday February 28.
