A 21-YEAR-OLD Kendal man was remanded in police custody after allegedly making threats while brandishing a weapon in Kendal town centre.
Police were called to Finkle Street in the early hours of Sunday morning after being alerted by several members of the public.
The man was arrested and later charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
No-one was injured during the incident - anyone with information is asked to contact Kendal CID on 101.
