THEATRE by the Lake, Keswick, plays host to English folk singer, Chris Wood on Sunday (February 9) at 7.30pm.
Dubbed ‘the Renaissance man of English folk’, Chris Wood is a singer, multi-instrumentalist and true enthusiast of traditional music.
Best-known for his song Hollow Point, about the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes, Wood has twice won Folk Singer of the Year at the BBC Folk Awards.
He’ll be playing songs from his new album ‘None the Wiser’, which The Independent recently gave five stars and called ‘a masterpiece’.
