A NEW fundraising group has been set up in Kendal to raise cash for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The group will help raise funds for the home nursing service provided in the local area, as well as support Marie Curie’s major fundraising campaigns such as the Great Daffodil Appeal and Blooming Great Tea Party.
It will also promote fundraising within the local community and encourage new supporters to help the charity. The first meeting was held last Wednesday (Jan 29), although it is not too late for people to get involved.
“It’s a great way to meet new people and get involved with local activities and it’s also a lot of fun,” added Ms Coulson.
