Emergency services called out to road traffic accident in Flookburgh

EMERGENCY services were called out to a road traffic collision where one person was trapped inside a car.

Fire crews, an ambuance and an air ambulance attended the incident which occurred at around 11.15am today on Wraysholme Lane, Flookburgh.

One fire engine from Grange and two from Kendal attended.

Two cars were involved.

Crews used specialist cutting equipment to extricate the casualty who was trapped and a land ambulance and air ambulance were also in attendance.
