RSPCA opens charity shop in Kendal
THE RSPCA’s Kendal town centre charity shop is open for business.
Staff and supporters turned out to the Highgate premises to see Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron cut the ribbon.
Branch Chairman Alan Green said the charity’s Westmorland branch had been looking to open a store in Kendal for four years.
“We’re happy with the location. We love the shop and we’ve had a fantastic response so far in terms of donations.”
