A LAKE District hotel featured on a popular live ITV daytime show.
The Cranleigh Boutique at Windermere, which plays host to more than 100 proposals each year, appeared on the show’s Valentine’s Day’ slot.
Last year TripAdvisor named it the most romantic hotel in the UK and third in the world.
And last month the organisation named it the north of England’s most romantic hotel.
The programme, which is hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, showed footage of the Sanctuary Suite and the Hideout Boutique House.
“We are delighted and flattered to have appeared on ITV’s This Morning.” said owner Stephen Hargreaves.
“For a small, family-run hotel in the Lake District to be featured so prominently on one of the UK’s most popular daytime television programmes is staggering and we are thrilled once again to have drawn national attention to not just the Cranleigh, but Windermere and the Lake District as a whole.”
