LOW Sizergh Farm, Kendal, is to be the venue for a ‘precision farming’ session aimed at improving fertility in dairy herds.
Run by the Royal Agricultural Society and National Milk Records, the event on March 10 – which is free to farmers – will look at methods to monitor fertility and heat detection, breeding decisions and NMR’s milk pregnancy test service, all demonstrated through on-farm case studies.
