CANCER charity Marie Curie is holding a daffodil collection in Kendal to launch its spring fundraising bid.
The event - in the town centre on Saturday (March 1) - kicks off the charity’s Great Daffodil Appeal.
Community fundraiser Sorrell Coulson said: “We hope that everyone in Kendal will support Marie Curie by donating and wearing a daffodil pin this March. The money raised will enable our nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal illnesses and their families at the time when they most need support.”
