A MAN is wanted for committing fraud in locations across the UK, including Kendal, Penrith and Carlisle.
Joshua Thomas Carr, 43, is being sought by Cumbria Police in connection with 'numerous offences' which took place throughout 2012 and 2013.
A spokesman for the force said Carr is suspected of entering shops as a customer and then 'committing fraudulent acts' within the premises.
He is also wanted by other forces for similar offences and by Berwick Upon Tweed police for 'failing to appear'.
"Businesses within the Cumbria area should be aware and contact the constabulary if approached to supply goods or services to this person," said the force spokesman.
Police are now appealing for Carr to hand himself in or for anyone who knows his whereabouts, or has seen him recently to contact the police.
Officers can be reached on 101. Anybody with information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
