FIREFIGHTERS rescued a worker from a two-storey scaffolding construction in Askam-in-Furness after he injured his ankle.
Crews were called to Duddon Road at around 10.30am this morning to rescue the casualty using an aerial ladder platform to bring him down to ground level.
The man was then handed over to paramedics.
