KIRKBY Stephen Scout Group has just returned from a Norwegian exchange.
Nine Explorer Scouts and adult volunteers from three units across Kentdale and Eden, including First Kirkby Stephen Scouts, joined together for the adventure.
They met local Scouts on two days during the week and were involved in cooking, ski-ing, snow-hole digging, mini ski-jumping and swimming.
Tessa Higgs, 17, from Kirkby Stephen, said, "It was one of my best weeks ever."
The expedition was one of many activities run by Cumbria Scouts for boys and girls from aged six upwards, encouraging them to look for challenges, enjoy the outdoors and bring their experiences back to Cumbria.
