A BUSINESS based in Windermere is celebrating after scooping two prestigious awards at a ceremony in London.
On February 26, at Battersea Evolution in London, Impact International was ‘proud’ to be named one of the UK's 2014 Best Workplaces in the annual Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for Awards.
They were also ‘delighted’ to be invited onto the stage to receive a special award for achieving ten consecutive years in the top 100 - something only two other organisations achieved this year.
David Williams, founder and CEO said: "It's been a fantastic year for Impact International - not only have we secured first place in the Great Places to Work Institute Awards, but we've now received a special accolade for achieving Times Top 100 company status for ten years.
“We are a values driven organisation and we have all worked hard to create a collaborative approach to work where people are highly engaged, are empowered to voice their ideas and thoughts and can positively influence the direction of the company, whatever their ‘role’ may be.
"After over 34 years in business it is my belief that it’s our people and culture that have been the key ingredients to our success."
Impact will be celebrating these awards during Learnfest, their annual festival of learning in the Lake District on June 10 to June 12 which, this year, is themed around agility. For more information and to book a place go to http://www.learnfest.co.uk
