A HOST of local solicitors are set to show their support for a local hospice’s Make a Will Month campaign.

Kilvington Solicitors, Kirkby Stephen and Milne Moser Solicitors, Kendal, are offering the local community the opportunity to talk about their will and the future.

In return for a donation to Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice and Eden Valley Hospice, people will then receive a professionally written will.

Last year the kindness and generosity of people from throughout Cumbria raised over £8,400 to support the care provided to local adults and children with life limiting illnesses.

This year each partner solicitor is again offering their services free of charge throughout April, all that people have to do is contact them directly and quote Make a Will Month.

Karen Durden, Legacy Fundraising Manger, said: "For many people making and talking about their will is something which they put off for years, but with the support of the local solicitors the Hospice is delighted to be able to provide people with the chance to talk about their will and support the Hospice.

"The Hospice would like to thank all of the partner solicitors for very kindly offering their services free of charge throughout Make a Will Month.

"The campaign allows people to secure the future of their loved ones whilst supporting the care and activities provided by Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, and Eden Valley Hospice."

To take part in the Make a Will Month campaign people are not required to make a gift to the Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice in their Will, but the Hospice would of course be delighted if people chose to do so.
