A PROPOSAL to install three wind turbines near Killington reservoir has been called in by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government for his determination.
A public inquiry into the plans, submitted by the Banks Group, is likely to be held later this year.
Members of the South Lakeland District Council's Planning Committee resolved to approve the application in January following a recommendation by officers to refuse it.
Councillors on the committee considered that the benefits of the development outweighed negative impacts on the landscape.
