YOUNGSTERS from three North Craven schools stepped back in time to the Victorian era.
About 70 key stage two pupils from the Confederation of Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Austwick and
Clapham Primary Schools enjoyed a trip to Bradford Industrial Museum.
Before going, the youngsters learnt poems to recite and songs to sing.
“Some were terrified by the Victorian classroom experience,” said confederation headteacher Gill Woods. “They looked at Victorian lives and were extremely grateful for the conditions they had today.
“They had a whale of a time though.”
