A NUMBER of pubs in Cumbria and north Lancashire are being offered for sale by Penrith based PFK Leisure and Commercial.
Owned by Daniel Thwaites Limited, The Sun Inn at Newton Reigny, near Penrith, with a guide tag of £275,000, the Miners Arms at Swarthmoor, near Ulverston, at £195,000 and the Punch Bowl in Burton-in-Lonsdale, near Carnforth, at £295,000, are on the market.
Meanwhile, The Horse and Jockey at Parsonby near Aspatria, west Cumbria, has been placed on the market for Punch Taverns with offers invited by May 23 from a price guide of £95,000.
Other village pubs available through PFK include The Crown Inn at Shap.
Chartered Surveyor, Duncan Young of PFK said: "There is interest in a number of these premises with buyers coming back to the market as prices have fallen back.
"With village pubs potential buyers are quite often looking at continuing to trade as a pub but some will no doubt revert to other uses."
