Police appeal after man's throat injured during incident in Eden

A MAN received injuries to his throat during an incident near Brough, said police.

Cumbria Police are appealing for information about the incident which occured at around 4.05pm yesterday (Friday), on the A685 sliproad off the A66.

The 36-year-old male driver of a red Skoda Fabia, from Catterick, received minor injuries to the throat.

Police believe the other two vehicles involved, a silver Renault Megane and a white Yamaha motorcycle knew each other and were travelling in convoy. 

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw the cars at around that time, are asked to call Kendal Police on 101 and ask for PC Airey. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
