South Lakes pupils raise £500 for Guide Dogs for the Blind

CHILDREN at Staveley School have raised £500 for Guide Dogs for the Blind by all giving something up for one month in Lent and collecting sponsorship for making the sacrifice.

Part of the money raised will go towards training a guide dog puppy, said teacher Lisa Strange.
