KENDAL Torchlight Carnival is on the hunt for volunteers to join the team for 2014.
After 2013’s relaunch, the Carnival has launched a recruitment campaign for 160 volunteers to continue its success on September 12 this year.
Local support is needed for crucial marshalling roles in closing the streets, guiding the floats and keeping the Torchlight Carnival procession safe for crowds and performers alike.
Other volunteer roles include stewards, programme sellers, and first aiders.
