Fire alarm call as clocks change
CUMBRIA County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service is calling on people to use the start of British Summer Time this weekend as a reminder to check their smoke alarms are in working order.
Householders are being encouraged to ‘push the button’ when putting clocks forward an hour on Sunday morning.
