Lakes 'freedom' passes are back for retired people this spring
The 24-hour 'Freedom of the Lake' pass is back on Windermere Lake Cruises’ scheduled sailings every Friday throughout April and May, for retirees living in CA and LA post code areas.
As well as this special seasonal offer passengers can enjoy discounted entry to three other popular visitor attractions – The Lakeland Motor Museum, Lakes Aquarium and Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway.
The pass allows unlimited travel and includes free access to the LDNP Visitor Centre, at Brockhole.
Proof of address must be shown at the ticket office at Bowness, Waterhead (Ambleside) or Lakeside.
