European Parliament hopefuls to address Kendal meeting

FOUR of the candidates vying to win North West seats in the European Parliament will speak at a meeting in Kendal on Friday.

Chris Davies (Liberal Democrat), Lee Slaughter (Ukip), Kevin Beaty (Conservative), Wazid Khan (Labour) and Peter Cranie (Green) will address the session entitled Why Vote in the European Elections at Kendal Town Hall from 7pm.

The meeting is being run by the Cumbria and north Lancashire group of the pro-European group Forward in Europe.
