French exchange students visiting as part of visit to stay with QKS pupils, Olivia Doucet, Mayor Sylvia Emmott and Guillaume Gauthier in the town
French exchange students were welcomed by Kendal Mayor Coun Sylvia Emmott as they came to the end of a week-long trip in the town.
Students from Saint Joseph School in Machecoul, western France, and their pals from Queen Katherine School (QKS) were treated to a talk about the history of the town during a visit to the Mayor’s Parlour.
In May, students from QKS will stay with their new French friends in Machecoul.
