Queen Katherine School (QKS) pupils are celebrating after picking up two top awards at the South Cumbria finals of Young Enterprise.

Held at the Netherwood Hotel, Grange, QKS company Aetherea followed up successes in December and February by scooping the ‘Best Company Report’ and ‘Best Overall Company’ awards.

Established in September last year, Aetherea began trading after developing its first ideas - wooden tree decorations engraved with a wood burning pen, and a Lake District-themed colouring book.

The team will represent South Cumbria at the Cumbria Strategic Board Finals at Carlisle Racecourse on May 7.
