SATURDAY’S Grizebeck Grub Festival went down a treat as more than 200 people explored stalls and watched demons-trations in an action-packed day at the community hall.
The Spring Food Fair, now in its third year, saw demonstrations from Craig Sherrington of the General Burgoyne, Great Urswick, Made in Cumbria chef Gary McClure, The Pampered Chef and The Smokery at Haverigg.
Other stalls included cupcakes by Jan’s Cakes, locally produced chutneys and jams and cooking equipment made by Up-Cycled Cumbria.
Cathy Burrows, hall manager, said: “It keeps growing each time in terms of visitors and what we offer and will continue going from strength to strength.”
