Sheep stolen from land in Appleby
POLICE are investigating the theft of nine Swaledale sheep from land near Ormside, Appleby-in-Westmorland.
The animals were taken betwen December 25 and January 10 but the theft was not reported until April 4.
The sheep were marked in black with either ‘C’ or ‘D’.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jim Bowie on 101.
