A WOMAN from Cumbria suffered broken fingers as she opened the door of her black Toyota MR2 after it had broken down on the A65 and was struck by a fail-to-stop motorist.
Skipton police are appealing for drivers who were travelling along the road between Kirkby Lonsdale and Long Preston on Thursday (April 10) to contact them if they witnessed the accident which happened in a gateway near to Owlett Hall Farm, Austwick, at around 7.50am.
Police are appealing for the driver of the vehicle to contact them along with any witnesses to the incident.
