A STEADY stream of visitors marvelled at a high number of entries to the Rusland Valley Spring Show.

Held in the village reading rooms and a large marquee, 300 entries were submitted in 65 classes from bowls of bulbs to mouth watering cakes, cut flowers, floral art and home produce.

There were also exhibitions of art and crafts, a book stall, collectables, cakes and plants for sale and a treasure hunt for children.

Trophy for most points in show was won by Jean Moreton and the Thelma Kellgren Trophy for most outstanding exhibit in the children’s classes was won by Rosie Watson.
