Tree survey planned in Ambleside
WINDERMERE Reflections, in partnership with the Civic Trust and the University of Cumbria, is running a tree survey of Ambleside, the results of which will go on to a national database to gain a true picture of tree health throughout the country.
Anyone interested can join ‘Tree-tastic’ next Wednesday (April 23, 1pm-4pm).
Meet on the first floor of Esquires Coffee Shop, Compston Road at 1pm to learn how to identify trees, measure their height and girth and recognise diseases.
