A ONE-STOP village shop has been created in a room at The Jolly Anglers pub in Burneside.
Owners Rachel Partington and Dave Windsor created the store in six days since getting licensing permission from South Lakeland District Council.
“We’ve had so many requests from people in the pub asking us to do something like this,” said Rachel.
“We wanted somewhere where people could buy things like fresh fruit and veg.
“The response since we opened so far has been amazing – people in Burneside want something nice and they deserve it.”
