A LAKE District sculptural metalworker has received an award with a royal seal of approval.
Chris Brammall received a Pinnacle Award from the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain for his work at a private Lakes residence.
The project included bespoke gates and railings as well as individual metal work features.
Mr Brammall’s award was for outstanding bespoke architectural metalwork and recognised his joint collaboration with Andrew Loudon – an award-winning dry stone waller from Coniston.
The Dry Stone Walling Association – of which HRH The Prince of Wales is Patron – presented the award to Mr Loudon and his team of wallers at a special Members Weekend earlier this month, with Mr Brammall receiving a Certificate of Involvement.
Mr Brammall said: “We've worked with Andrew and his team on a number of projects over the last few years and are delighted to have received this award for recognition of our involvement in this commission.
