A TEAM from the Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation were called to assist a pensioner who collapsed with chest pains at the top of Malham Cove steps yesterday (Friday).
The 70-year-old woman walker was treated at the scene by paramedics before being stretchered to a rescue team ambulance.
She was later transferred to a road ambulance at the Yorkshire Dales National Park centre in Malham.
No update on the woman's condition has been released.
