A CAVER died after collapsing while walking across Casterton Fell on Sunday.
The 58-year-old was en route to Top Sink in the Ease Gills system.
The Cave Rescue Organisation, based in Clapham, was called out at 12.30pm and team members carried the casualty to the Great North Air Ambulance helicopter.
He was flown to Bull Pot Farm but pronounced dead.
