TWO men were assaulted in Kendal town centre in the early hours of Easter Monday.
A 24-year-old from Underbarrow suffered a broken nose and a 26-year-old from Kendal received a possible fractured thumb as a result.
The assault took place near Marmaris takeaway on Kent Street at around 3.45am.
Police said that the attack was carried out by at least two people, although they may have been part of a larger group.
