POLICE want to speak to the owners of three dogs who were chasing lambs in a Bowness field on Monday.

One of the lambs in the Rayrigg Road location was left injured as a result.

The dogs have been described as lurchers - one 'sandy coloured' and the other two grey.

Police have said that a man wearing a blue anorak and a woman in a red top took the dogs and left the area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Helen Addison of Cumbria Police on 101.
