Amnesty goup disbands in Cartmel and Grange
AMNESTY International’s Cartmel and Grange Group has disbanded after 37 years campaigning for peace, justice and the victims of oppression.
Age, illness, family commitments and the rise of the computer have taken a toll on the number of members – who will now send appeals and support campaigns via the Amnesty website.
