NAMES: Bid to trace families of village war dead
DOES anyone in the area have a family name on the Casterton village war memorial?
It is hoped to trace the families of the fallen heroes and any service personnel who returned to the parish at the end of the Great War (First World War).

The names of those who gave their lives were H.C. Clarke; W. Pooley; H. Hardcastle; J.H. Shepherd; W.T. Stackhouse; W.E. Wilson.
The names of all who returned safely will be put on the village war memorial as soon as possible.
