THE date for one of the North’s top farming events has been announced.
The 2914 Borderway Agri Expo in Carlisle will take place on Friday, October 31, organisers Harrison & Hetherington said.
The key autumn event, now in its eighth year, will feature show classes for pedigree and commercial sheep and cattle, plus a ‘huge breadth’ of trade stands.
Harrison & Hetherington said: “The event is now established as a major showcase for everyone interested in the UK livestock industry. More than 12,500 visitors attended last year’s Agri Expo.
“Encouraging farming’s next generation, with a number of specialist classes for young and novice handlers, will also be an important part of the day again this year.”
