A LEVENS man has pleaded guilty to a string of charges including possessing images of people performing sex acts with animals and children.
Steven Singleton, of The Green, pleaded guilty to nine counts of making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child and two counts of possessing extreme pornographic images involving eels, snakes and dogs.
The 55-year-old pleaded guilty to the offences which date back to 2004 when he appeared at South Lakeland Magistrates’ Court.
Computer devices containing 117 indecent images were seized from Singleton’s home on September 20, 2012.
Chairman of the bench Mary Blanchard said: “Because of the serious nature of the crimes, we are committing this to crown court.”
Singleton is on bail with the condition that he does not have any unsupervised contact with any child.
The case was committed to Carlisle Crown Court for sentencing on May 16.
