A PUBLIC meeting has been called by local residents to discuss ongoing issues in Ambleside.
Called 'Homes or Hotels – Profit or People', the meeting begins at 7.30pm at Ambleside Parish Centre on Tuesday May 13.
Flyers distributed throughout the town say: "To inform and discuss the current issues facing Ambleside.
"Our needs are being ignored by the local council, LDNPA, University of Cumbria and the County Council. Come and join us to have your say and show your support."
Issues likely to be discussed include Sainsburys, on-street parking charges; the cycle route through Rothay Park and the Premier Inn proposal for Hilltop.
