DOZENS of youngsters have unleashed their inner Tarzan on a new junior tree top course at Grizedale.
Little monkeys aged over six or more than a metre tall are now able to take to the trees for an adventure on a junior version of the Go Ape course – previously only available to children over 11.
“This is exactly the type of innovative attraction we are keen to see developed in the Lake District,” said Richard Greenwood, Cumbria Tourism’s head of operations.
“By starting them young we hope this will stimulate a long term interest in adventure and in Cumbria’s great outdoors.”
Children from across the UK have already visited the attraction.
