THE shortlist of finalists has been revealed in this year's Cumbria Tourism awards.

The annual awards include 13 categories and involve dozens of businesses across Cumbria.

The winners will be announced at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal on June 17 and host will be television presenter Kim Inglis.

Categories include Best Small Hotel, Best Large Visitor Attraction, Outstanding Customer Service, Best Sustainable Business and Taste Cumbria to name a few.

Ian Stephens, MD of Cumbria Tourism, said: “We are once again overwhelmed with excellent entries and the judges had to make some difficult decisions to create the final shortlist.

"These awards highlight the best that Cumbria has to offer when it comes to providing millions of visitors with a holiday or short break to remember. This is our chance to reward the best of the best and show our appreciation for their dedication and hard work."

Winners on June 17 will go forward to compete at the national Enjoy England Awards.
