ANYONE heading south for the weekend could face delays caused by a broken down train which is affecting services between Scotland and Preston.
The line has re-opened after the vehicle stopped working between Carlisle and Penrith, but Virgin and First Transpennine Express services could face 'knock-on' delays of up to an hour and 30 minutes.
It is affecting the line between Glasgow Central and Preston and between Edinburgh Waverley and Preston.
